Got my first voiceover gig for an amazing audiobook +Reasonable Doubt – State vs. Troy Davis produced by largervisions.org.   It is based on the trial of Troy Davis, an African-American man convicted of and executed for the August 19, 1989 murder of police officer Mark MacPhail in Savannah, Georgia.  I read the testimony of Defense Attorney Susan Dean.  The CD will be available Spring 2013.

Featured as the Mom in Investigate Discovery Series Most Likely To…Episode 1 “Frat Brothers” directed by Greg Palmer. The episode is scheduled to air May 2013.

Just got cast in The Vagina Monologues directed by +Andrea Bertola at the HERE Theater Arts Center.  This time, I’m performing the monologue Reclaiming Cunt; my source of inspiration, Glenn Close, who performed it in 2001 and had the entire audience screaming, “CUNT!!!”  One can only hope…

In the acknowledgement page of my doctoral dissertation I included the following excerpt as the guiding source of my inspiration, and perhaps, yours, as well:

“There is no use trying,” said Alice, “one can’t believe impossible things.”  “I dare say you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen.  ‘When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day.  Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” ~Lewis Carroll

Keep laughing, Keep striving, Keep dreaming those *impossible dreams!
